About us

We are the association PingPongParkinson WM 2027 Switzerland. We have joined forces to make a world championship possible in Magglingen in October 2027, something you will fondly remember.

Behind the club stands an organizing committee of about ten people who are actively involved on a voluntary basis. Some of us regularly sit at the table tennis table ourselves, others have been working with people with Parkinson for years or bring experience from organizing large events. A delegation of our committee was present at the World Championships in Hanover in 2026 and has brought many impressions and experiences from there to Magglingen.

We know that traveling to a World Championships involves planning. Therefore, when preparing, we think not only about the schedule and the venues, but also about travel, accommodation, and the local arrangements.

The National Sports Centre Magglingen is located high above Lake Biel, overlooking the Alps. Here, the best athletes in Switzerland train. In October 2027, it will be your venue.
